The founder members were all visionaries and they visualized an institution with residential and fellowship method of life under the guidance of a cosmopolitan team of teachers.
The college even now tries to uplift the visions of its founders even though in due course it has now on its rolls a larger number of day scholars than residents. The principle of cooperation in teaching, study and life is still a guiding factor in the campus.
