Fiscal Federalism

On 7th October 2010, Dr. Rajan Varughese, Pro-vice Chancellor, MG University, Kottayam and a faculty member of our Department made a come back to his favourite work place to deliver a lecture on ‘Fiscal Federalism‘. Fiscal federalism entails the division of responsibilities in respect of taxation and public expenditure among the different layers of the government, namely the Center, the States and the local bodies. His interaction with our M.A students further made the session fruitful.
