Dr Sebastian Joseph presented a paper in the seminar and training programme conducted by department of Masters in Computer Applications, Union Christian College in May 2012.

The Archaeological Musuem is being upgraded to a new software. Visitors are requested to inform the Staff-in-Charge in advance for reference facilities. The museum will start in full swing by July 2012.

Ms Twincy Varghese has joined as Non-resident Warden of V.K Alexander Memorial Hostel (West Hostel) of the college with nearly 65 student inmates. The department colleagues congratulate her for taking up additional duties and serving the college community. She has taken charge from Mrs. Juby John who was warden last year.

The department is on the end semester break from 1st to 31st May,2012. Ms Annie Jose, Dr Sebastian Joseph, Ms Juby John, Ms Tresa Divya and Dr Jenee Peter are attending the valuation camp.

The B.A. History 6th sem Viva-voce and Project Evaluation were conducted on 23rd April and 24th April 2012.  The guiding teachers were Dr Jenee peter and Ms Juby John. The External Examiner was Sri T hairlial, Associate professor, Department of History, S.S.V College, Irapuram.

The 1st year M.A students organized a wonderful farewell event for their seniors in the senior class room.
