A local history initiative for Aluva region was long overdue. The department of history, Union Christian College, Aluva conducts an attempt to study Aluva bygone years as a joint venture with Jeevass kendram, Aluva. The inauguration of the programme titled ‘Choorni…2012… will be held at Aluva Jeevass Kendram’s Fr Mundadan Hall at 4 PM on 26th January 2012. It will be inaugurated by Dr M.G .S Narayanan and logo will be released by Sri Sethu the renowned Malayalam Writer. Prof Suja.K. Sam the Head of the department will deliver the felicitation address. Other faculty members and students of the department are involved in this project.
