Faculty Paper Presentations

Dr Sebastian Joseph moderated the session on 1st February 2012 in the national seminar held along with the folklore exhibitions at U.C College. The speakers were Dr C.R Rajagopaal and Dr M.S Sreenathan.
Dr Jenee Peter moderated a session at the national seminar held in the co0llege on 2nd Feb at T.B Ninan Hall U.C College. The key speaker was Dr Vijayakumar Menon from Sankara University, on the aesthetics behind the folk art forms. The second presentation was by Dr Dileep Kumar on Folk Theater. The third presentation was by Sri Civic Chandran, noted writer and activist on the political contentions that mould tribal movements in Kerala in rent times and the tribal life in transition. The next presentation was by Indu M, N on folk utensils and artifacts and the last presentation was by Priya.P.Nair on the rites and customs of Mullukurumar, a dominant tribal community in Wayanad. The seminar also was well attended and the session has a lively questions answer session.
