Dayabai in U.C Campus

Dayabai the renowned social activist and spokesperson for minorities rights and women’s empowerment programmes was in U.C College last week. She had come as chief guest at the national seminar hosted by Vidwan P.G Nair Research Foundation and the Department of Malayalam. She visited the stall put up by Department of history and Archaeological Museum as well as the Kottapuram excavations stalls.  Dayabai also sparedtime to interact with a few faculty members of the department of History as well as the First year B.A students.  She has written plays, autobiography Pachaviral and Dayabai the lady of Fire coauthored with Anne Dreze.
