Independence Day was celebrated by NCC with the support of NSS, PTA and OSA. A ceremonial parade was held at the campus and our Principal Dr. T. Thomas Philip was the Chief Guest. After the flag hoisting and the salute ceremony, the Principal gave his message to the cadets. The message very aptly stressed upon the duty of the youth to remember the courage and sacrifices of many men who won freedom for us and who shed their lives protecting that freedom since independence. He also reminded the audience to appreciate the value of freedom before questioning or compromising it. Sweets were distributed to all.
