An AIDS awareness lecture was arranged for NCC Cadets on 19 Dec, 2011 at TB Ninan Hall. The Resource person was Dr. David Saj Mathew, Faculty of Dept. of Botany and Coordinator of Bioinformatics Programme. Dr. David Saj is a former NCC Officer too..

The Programme began with Sgt. Jesna welcoming the chief guest and the gathering and proceeded into the lecture. Dr. Saj spoke in detail about the causes, symptoms and cure of AIDS. The programme ended with CQM Eldhose Varghese proposing the vote of thanks.

Following the awareness talk, a skit on the topic was presented by SUO Anusree KG, JUO Sahida, CQMS Neenu Johnson, Sgt. Minju Baby and Sgt. Amritha Prabhu.
