The department has a very active Association with all students of the department as members and the faculty participating in the association activities. The association meets on the last working hour of day 3 every week.

The programmes of the association include

• organising lectures
• conducting quizes, debates
• presentations by students

Each class (both P.G. & U.G.) take the responsibilty of conducting programmes every week on a rotation basis. The students also take the responsibility of updating the Student’s  Notice Board with interesting articles related to the filed of Psychology. This academic year of the various programmes organised by the Association the two seminars need special mention.

Mr. Mohammed Abeer, Research Scholar, Bharathiar University provided Training in use of Intervention Techniques to students of Dept. of Psychology.

Mr. Rahul Sudheesh, 3rd  semester  student of LLB, National University of Advanced Legal Studies gave a talk on Right to Information Act.
