Zootech Association members, the faculty, students and non-teaching staff of the Dept of Zoology, gathered in MB20 on 2nd July 2010 for the inauguration of Zootech Association and its activities for the academic year 2010-11. Zootech Association, staff advisor Dr. Shirley Thomas invited the members.

The program started with a prayer song by Divya Dominic (3rd sem. zoology). Prof. Suja. K. Lukose, Head of the Dept. of Zoology formally inaugurated the Zootech Association by lighting the lamp. In her inaugural address she reminded the Zootech members that all are endowed with much talents and this association is the venue to nurture it to full bloom.

The Zootech Association congratulated the new office bearers who were elected for the current academic year (2010-2011). This was followed by an interesting quiz on “Amazing facts of animals” by the new lecturer of Zoology dept., Miss Febby Payva. The prizes for the winning team ( 1st BSc. Zoology) was distributed by Prof. M. Saje Thomas. The meeting came to an end with a vote of thanks proposed by the newly elected secretary of 3rd BSc BT &SP.
