Seminar and Poster designing competition on “Wetlands for disaster risk reduction”

The Department of Zoology organized a one-day KSCSTE sponsored seminar and poster designing competition on “Wetlands for disaster risk reduction” on 2^nd February 2017, at T.B. Ninan Hall. The programme was organized to celebrate the International Wetlands Day and to instill the spirit of environmental conservation in young minds. The Principal, Dr. P. Thomas Mathew inaugurated the seminar. Dr. K.A. Sreejith, Scientist, KFRI, Peechi gave invited lecture on the topic. Dr. M. Anilkumar, (Assistant professor, Botany and Secretary for Forum of Life Sciences), Dr. Shirley Thomas, (HOD, Zoology) and Dr. Niladevi K.N, (Seminar Co-ordinator) addressed the gathering. 150 delegates from various colleges participated in the seminar.
