Union Christian College chapel provides spiritual care and support to the college community for its holistic development. The college caters to the spiritual requirements of the community through the following ventures.
The college chapel is an integral part of UCC life. It is envisaged as a place for reflection and prayer. Every working day in Union Christian College starts with morning worship at 9.10 am. The daily chapel service includes an ecumenical worship with a relevant message to inspire the community. The service is open to all, but attendance is not obligatory. During the study term, a united evening worship is held in the chapel every Sunday at 6.15 pm.Teachers and students take initiative for the conduct of these services.

The Union Christian college is a vibrant group including both students and teachers.The audition for the choir is done every year in the month of October as a run up to the Christmas celebrations of the community.The Christmas carol service is the highlight of the choir’s activities every year. Visits to the neighbouring institutions like School for the Blind Aluva, Fellowship house Aluva are part of the choir’s yearly itinerary.
The Student Christian Fellowship (SCF) plays a significant role in fostering the holistic development of students, encompassing their spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects. On August 8, an open discussion themed “Peace & Disharmony” was organized in collaboration with the Psychology Department and CPSD. Additionally, on September 15, a memorial service was held to honor K.C. Chacko, one of the college’s founders, alongside the inauguration of SCF activities at the college chapel. The event featured Rev. Renju Varghese Mathew, Principal of CSI Karunyalayam Special School, as the distinguished guest. Notably, SCF actively participates in the “Thursdays in Black” campaign, a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about violence.
Two students, Athul Dev & Sebin Joy, representing the SCF of UCC attended the camp conducted by the Gender and Social Justice Desk of SCM on the topic Unlearning Toxic Masculinity Towards Healthy Growth held at Banglore from 20th-22nd October 2023.
