Randhal – Back a Smile

Union  Christian  college  appreciates  the  students  and  faculty  of  Department of English  for  the meaningful  initiative to spread awareness  among   youth on  waste  management  and  create wealth   out   of   waste through Ranthal- Back a Smile.  The event was  organized   in front  of  the Kacherimalika on 20 and 21 December, 2017. A promotional video, created by Jebin George was launched on the occasion by the Principal.
Ranthal- Back a Smile has been an ongoing campaign of the Department of English curated by Ms. Sheenu Varghese. A two day exhibition cum sale  was hosted by the students of the department showcasing the talent of creating art out of nothing! The supposedly ‘useless’ items were collected previously as part of the initiative and were converted into beautiful artifacts which were displayed and made available for purchase. The profits will go to charity.
