ശതാബ്ദി ആഘോഷത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി, ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രാഗൽഭ്യം തെളിയിച്ച പൂർവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി, യു സി കോളേജ് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശതാബ്ദി പ്രതിഭാ പുരസ്കാരം – മാധ്യമ വിഭാഗം – വിതരണം നടന്നു. സുപ്രസിദ്ധ മാധ്യമ പ്രവർത്തകൻ ജോണി ലൂക്കോസ് മുഖ്യാതിഥി ആയ ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ ഡോ. എം ഐ പുന്നൂസ് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. യുസി കോളേജ് ലൈബ്രറി ഹാളിൽ വച്ച് നടന്ന പ്രൗഢഗംഭീരമായ ചടങ്ങിൽ മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരായ എസ് കൃഷ്ണൻകുട്ടി, കെ എൻ ഷാജി, എൻ എം പിയേഴ്സൺ,അഡ്വ ജയശങ്കർ, ജീമോൻ ജേക്കബ്, കെ എ ജോണി, അജയ് കുമാർ ജി, ജോസ് ഗ്രേസ് കെ, ജെ ബിന്ദുരാജ്, സീന ടോണി ജോസ് എന്നിവർ പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി.
ചടങ്ങിൽ കോളേജ് മാനേജർ റവ തോമസ് ജോൺ, ഡോ സജു മാത്യു, ഡോ. അലക്സ് മാത്യു, പൂർവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി സംഘടന പ്രസിഡൻറ് പി സി അജിത്കുമാർ തുടങ്ങിയവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.
As part of the centenary celebrations, UC College distributed the Shatabdi Prathibha Puraskaaram in the Media category. Renowned media personality Johny Lukose was the chief guest, and Principal Dr. M. I. Punnus presided over the function. The grand ceremony took place at the UC College Library Hall, where media professionals S. Krishnankutty, K. N. Shaji, N. M. Pearson, Adv. Jayashankar, Jeemon Jacob, K. A. Johny, Ajay Kumar G., Jose Grace K., J. Binduraj, and Seena Tony Jose received their awards. During the event, College Manager Rev. Thomas John, Dr. Saju Mathew, Dr. Alex Mathew, and Alumni Association President P. C. Ajithkumar delivered speeches.
