Announcing UCC 100 Run.

Founded in 1921, Union Christian College, Aluva (UCC), affiliated to MG University, is synonymous with premier education in Kerala. The college is re-accredited with an “A” grade in the IV cycle by NAAC. With a legacy of over 100 years, UC College is celebrating its centenary year in 2022. As part of the celebrations, UCC has been organizing multiple events and activities as a tribute to a century of reforming education. In this regard, the department of Physical Education is conducting a Half Marathon from the college campus on 8th October 2022. The event is conducted in association with the Athletics Federation of India. Prominent sports persons and celebrities, alumni, students, and the general public will partake in this event. The winners will be awarded with cash prizes and every participant will receive a medal and certificate for participation along with a marathon-branded t-shirt.
(Note: All the participants must submit a medical fitness certificate. The organizers will support the runners in terms of directions, water supply, energy drinks, medical aid, etc. Refreshment points will be arranged every 4 Kms to keep the participants hydrated and fit throughout the race. Breakfast will be arranged for every participant after the run).
