FOOT POLICING AGAINST SINGLE-USE PLASTICS

In connection with the International day of paper bags and the recent ban by central government on single use plastic, the NCC SW cadets of UNION CHRISTIAN COLLEGE, ALUVA along with St. Xavier’s College for women under 7(K) GIRLS BATTALION NCC THRISSUR conducted foot policing at Aluva Federal Bank Junction.
The programe was flagged off by Dr. M. I. Punoose, Principal of Union Christian College, Aluva. Cadets were divided into four groups and were sent to different directions to orient shopkeepers and public and to distribute paper bags that they made themselves. 25-30 in the vicinity was covered.
