The orientation programme for the first year degree honours programme was held on 1st July, 2025 at the Founders’ Memorial Platinum Jubilee Auditorium. Dr. R Bindu, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, inaugurated the state-wide FYUGP honours orientation programme, ‘വിജ്ഞാനോത്സവം’ which was streamed live. The college-level orientation programme was jointly inaugurated by Dr. K.P. Ouseph IFS, the College Manager and Dr. Mini Alice, Principal.
A merit ceremony to felicitate Patent holders, PhD Awardees and Rank Holders from the college was also held on the occasion. Dr. Femi Anna Thomas (Asst. Prof., Dept. of Zoology) who was selected to India’s 44th Scientific expedition to Antarctica and Niniya Thomas (Alumna) who secured 254th rank in Civil Services Examination were also honoured during the function.
