The orientation commenced at 2 pm with an address by the Principal Secretary followed by an introduction to the rationale behind the new UG Honours Programme by Dr. R. Bindhu, Honble Minister for Higher Education.

Two sessions on the nuances and technicalities of the Programme by Dr. Shefeeq Rehman, Maharajas College, Ernakulam and Dr. Sudheendhran K, Research Officer on special duty, Kerala State Higher Education- Education Reforms Implementation Cell, followed. The meeting concluded at 4 pm.
