World of Rock art Exhibition

The month long exhibition themed World of Rock Art will  be inaugurated on 28 November 2014. It is being jointly organized by the Indira Gandhi National Trust for Art, Culture and Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, New Delhi, the Centre for Heritage Studies under the Kerala Department of Cultural Affairs, Tripunithura and Union Christian College, Aluva. Exhibition is on from 28 November to 28 December, 2014 at the Hill Palace Archaeological Museum compound, Tripunithura. It is free and open from 10.00 am. to 5.00 pm. except on Mondays. The exhibition is meant for students of arts and science colleges, public and school children.

The exhibition is the result of months of background work of the staff and students of the department of History and the Archaeological Museum. Dr. Jenee Peter is the local coordinator of this event. The Principal Dr,Benny. Cherian will represent College in the press meet and the Inaugural function.
