ശതാബ്ദി പ്രതിഭാ പുരസ്കാരം – സാഹിത്യ വിഭാഗം

ശതാബ്ദി ആഘോഷത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി, ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രാഗൽഭ്യം തെളിയിച്ച പൂർവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി, യു സി കോളേജ് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശതാബ്ദി പ്രതിഭാ പുരസ്കാരം – സാഹിത്യ വിഭാഗം – വിതരണം നടന്നു. സുപ്രസിദ്ധ മലയാള സാഹിത്യകാരൻ എം. കെ. സാനു മുഖ്യാതിഥി ആയ ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ ഡോ. എം ഐ പുന്നൂസ് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. യുസി കോളേജ് ലൈബ്രറി ഹാളിൽ വച്ച് നടന്ന പ്രൗഢഗംഭീരമായ ചടങ്ങിൽ സാഹിത്യകാരന്മാരായ സേതു, ടി ഡി രാമകൃഷ്ണൻ, വേണു വി ദേശം, വത്സലൻ വാതുശേരി, സുനിൽ ജോസ്, പറവൂർ രാജഗോപാൽ, തസ്മിൻ ശിഹാബ്, ഡി സന്തോഷ് എന്നിവർ പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി. അന്തരിച്ച പ്രശസ്ത സാഹിത്യകാരൻ എൻ കെ ദേശത്തിന് മരണാനന്തര ബഹുമതിയായി പുരസ്കാരം സമർപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. ചടങ്ങിൽ കോളേജ് മാനേജർ റവ തോമസ് ജോൺ ബർസാർ ഡോ.സിബു എം ഈപ്പൻ, ഡോ. വിധു നാരായൺ, പൂർവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി സംഘടന വൈസ് പ്രസിഡൻറ് അജയകുമാർ തുടങ്ങിയവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.
As part of the centenary celebrations, UC College distributed the Shatabdi Prathibha Puraskaaram to distinguished alumni who have excelled in various fields of life.
In the Literature category, writers Sethu, T. D. Ramakrishnan, Venu V. Desam, Valsalan Vathussery, Sunil Jose, Paravur Rajagopal, Tasmin Shihab, and D. Santosh received their awards. A posthumous honor was also presented to the late famous writer N. K. Desam. The event was graced by renowned Malayalam writer M. K. Sanu as the chief guest, and Principal Dr. M. I. Punnoose presided over the function.
During the event, College Manager Rev. Thomas John, Bursar Dr. Sibu M. Eapen, Dr. Vidhu Narayanan, and Alumni Association Vice President U. Ajayakumar delivered speeches.
