Programme Report

Held on 15th and 16th July 2025 at Union Christian College, Aluva, the 2-day Innovation Workshop brought together 92 students, including NCC cadets and undergraduate participants from various colleges.

Day 1, titled โ€œIgnite to Innovateโ€, focused on ideation through hands-on activities such as entrepreneurial storytelling, reflection exercises, and an innovation auction. Participants explored real-world challenges aligned with national priorities like sanitation, energy, waste management, traffic control, and AI-based education.

Day 2, โ€œFrom Idea to Impact โ€“ The Innovation Challengeโ€, saw 10 student teams transform their ideas into practical solutions using innovation canvases, prototype presentations, and live pitches. The event fostered creativity, teamwork, public speaking, and design thinking. Projects like WASTO, AI-Powered Road Safety Detection, and Smart Public Transport Solutions showcased student-driven innovations with high social impact. The workshop concluded with a positive, energetic atmosphere, equipping students with confidence, problem-solving skills, and a clear understanding of how to innovate for a Viksit Bharat.
