The stall set up by Union Christian College, Aluva has aroused curiosity at Sarjana 2023-24, the exhibition held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Christava Mahilayalayam Public School.
The official football of the FIFA Qatar World Cup, displayed by the Sports Department of the College, the Skinfold Caliper that measures body fat, the Konigsberg Bridge and the Tower of Hanoi of the Mathematics Department, specimens of microorganisms and the foetus arranged by the Zoology and Biosciences Departments, and the tests of the of Psychology Department have made the UC College stall stand out at the exhibition.
Products such as sanitary pads, flower pots and pen holders created from water hyacinths, which pose serious threat to the environment and biodiversity, by the Biosciences Department, and the braille edition of the award winning College Magazine, ‘Vellirekha’, were also major attractions in the exhibition.
Special thanks to Department heads and teachers of Zoology, Mathematics, Biosciences, Physical Education, and Psychology and all the students who actively participated in the exhibition.
