Union Christian College have a rich set of 9 departments offering research which leads to PhD ( Mahatma Gandhi University) and the college feels proud of its research facilities and guides.
PhD Course Work:
The PhD Course work conducted by the U. C. College commences on 1st January and finishes by 30th June every year. The teacher fellows can do the programme in two spells. The M. Phil. Degree holders are exempted from attending Paper 1 (if they have done the same for their M. Phil.) and paper 2, but they have to compulsorily attend and complete the six months programme. Those who have registered for the Ph. D. with U. C. C. as their centre of research can do the course work here. If other research scholars who have registered in research centers external to the U. C. C. would like to undergo course work in here may have to get prior consent from the University to attend the course here.
