ശതാബ്ദി പ്രതിഭാ പുരസ്കാരം – പരിസ്ഥിതി

ശതാബ്ദി ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി, ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രാഗൽഭ്യം തെളിയിച്ച പൂർവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി, യു സി കോളേജ് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശതാബ്ദി പ്രതിഭാ പുരസ്കാരം – പരിസ്ഥിതി – വിതരണം നടന്നു. പ്രശസ്ത പരിസ്ഥിതി പ്രവർത്തക ദയാബായി മുഖ്യാതിഥി ആയ ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ ഡോ. എം ഐ പുന്നൂസ് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. യുസി കോളേജ് ലൈബ്രറി ഹാളിൽ വച്ച് നടന്ന പ്രൗഢഗംഭീരമായ ചടങ്ങിൽ പി എൻ ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണൻ ഐ.എഫ്.എസ്., ജെയ്സൺ പാനികുളങ്ങര, ഡോ. സിറിയക് ജോർജ്, മായ ശശിധരൻ, മനോജ് കുമാർ ഐ. ബി., പ്രമോദ് കൃഷ്ണൻ ഐ.എഫ്.എസ്, മുരുകേശൻ ജി, അമൽ കൃഷ്ണ കെ.എൽ. എന്നിവർ പുരസ്കാരവും പ്രശസ്തിപത്രവും ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി.
അവാർഡ് ജേതാക്കളായ ആർ വി ജി മേനോൻ, ഡോ. മൻസൂർ ഹസ്സൻ എന്നിവർക്ക് നേരിട്ട് വരാൻ സാധിച്ചില്ല. ചടങ്ങിൽ കോളേജ് മാനേജർ റവ തോമസ് ജോൺ, ഡോ മിനി ആലീസ്, ഡോ അനുമോൾ ജോസ്, ഡോ. രാജൻ വർഗീസ്, പൂർവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി സംഘടന പ്രസിഡൻറ് സജീ ആർ. തുടങ്ങിയവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.
As part of the centenary celebrations, UC College distributed the Shatabdi Prathibha Puraskaaram in the Environmental category. Renowned environmental activist Dayabai was the chief guest, and Principal Dr. M. I. Punnoose presided over the function. The grand ceremony took place at the UC College Library Hall, where P. N. Unnikrishnan IFS, Jaison Panikulangara, Dr. Cyriac George, Maya Sashidharan, Manoj Kumar I. B., Pramod Krishnan IFS, Murukeshan G., and Amal Krishna K. L. received their awards and certificates.
Awardees R. V. G. Menon and Dr. Mansoor Hassan could not attend the event in person. During the event, College Manager Rev. Thomas John, Dr. Mini Alice, Dr. Anumol Jose, Dr. Rajan Varghese, and Alumni Association President Saji R. delivered speeches.
