The Department of Economics, the Department of History, the Election Literacy Club, and the Quiz Club of Union Christian College, in association with the Directorate of Census Operations, Kerala, organized a Census Awareness Programme and Quiz Competition on 18 June 2026 at 1.00 p.m. in the History Department Reading Room.

The awareness session was conducted by Dr. Geethika of the Election Literacy Club. The programme was attended by Dr. Jenee Peter (HoD, History), Ms. Rajalakshmi R. (HoD, Economics), and Dr. Shela Mary Varghese (Quiz Club Coordinator).

The individual quiz competition saw the participation of 20 students. The winners were:

First Prize: Ms. Amina Parvin E.A.
