District-Level Quiz Competition on the Tribes of Kerala
Organised by KIRTADS, Government of Kerala, in association with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, and Union Christian College, Aluva

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Nayana V., Lecturer in Sociology and Anthropology, KIRTADS.
The session was presided over by Dr. S. M. Varghese, who, in her presidential remarks, emphasised that the tribes of Kerala are not merely a constitutional entry, but communities whose presence precedes the very notion of the nation-state. To include them is not an act of benevolence—it is an obligation of historical justice.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Jenee Peter, Head of the Department of History, Union Christian College, Aluva, delivered the felicitation, followed by the formal inauguration by Dr. Mini Alice, Principal, Union Christian College.
Prize distribution was carried out by Dr. Mini Alice, and the programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Nandita I. R., Investigator, KIRTADS.
