Lt. Cdr. Tomy, who became the first Indian to circumnavigate the globe solo and without halts on the legendary naval sail yacht Mhadei early this year, visited Union Christian College on 12/09/2013 and met the students and narrated the whole story of his voyage. College Principal Dr. A Benny Cherian , College Manager Dr Raju K.John , retired and present faculties and the students had the rare fortune to meet him , the Kirti Chakra holder of 2013.
