A merit day to honour the 26 rank holders from UC college in MG University PG examinations was held at TB Ninan Hall , Union Christian College on 15/11/2023. 130 participants including students, Faculty members and parents of the rank holders attended the programme. The event served as a momentous occasion for the college community to reflect on its accomplishments of its academically meritorious students.
Dr. Tiju Thomas IRS, who pursued his pre-degree course at Union Christian College, Aluva, was the chief guest. The address began with a warm acknowledgment of the college’s founders and their vision for providing quality education. Dr. Tiju reminded the rank holdersto be socially committed and working for one’s self is regression and not growth. The message was a memorable and enriching experience for all attendees.
The Autobiographical book ‘Ente Jeevithathinte Irambath’ written by Mr A.K. Ambikan, who was a former employee of Premier Tyres Kalamassery, at the age of 88, titled was distributed to the rank holders.
