ശതാബ്ദി ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി, ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രാഗൽഭ്യം തെളിയിച്ച പൂർവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി, യു സി കോളേജ് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശതാബ്ദി പ്രതിഭാ പുരസ്കാരം – വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം – വിതരണം നടന്നു. പ്രൊഫ. സിറിയക് തോമസ് മുഖ്യാതിഥി ആയ ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ ഡോ. എം ഐ പുന്നൂസ് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. യുസി കോളേജ് ലൈബ്രറി ഹാളിൽ വച്ച് നടന്ന പ്രൗഢഗംഭീരമായ ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രൊഫ വി. ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണൻ നായർ, പ്രൊഫ. പി. കെ അബ്ദുൽ അസീസ്, പ്രൊഫ. എം എസ് ഗിരിജ, പ്രൊഫ മൈക്കിൾ തരകൻ, പ്രൊഫ. പ്രസാദ് കൃഷ്ണ, പ്രൊഫ. മഞ്ജു കുര്യൻ എന്നിവർ പുരസ്കാരവും പ്രശസ്തിപത്രവും ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി.
അവാർഡ് ജേതാക്കളായ പ്രൊഫ. കെ കുഞ്ഞികൃഷ്ണൻ, പ്രൊഫ. ദീപക് ജോൺ മാത്യു, പ്രൊഫ. ദിലീപ് കുമാർ എം., പ്രൊഫ. എ.റ്റി. ബിജു എന്നിവർക്ക് നേരിട്ട് വരാൻ സാധിച്ചില്ല. ചടങ്ങിൽ കോളേജ് മാനേജർ റവ തോമസ് ജോൺ, ഡോ. വിദ്യ രവീന്ദ്രനാഥൻ, രേഖ ആർ നായർ, പൂർവ്വ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി സംഘടന വൈസ് പ്രസിഡൻറ് സജീ ആർ. തുടങ്ങിയവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.
As part of the centenary celebrations, UC College distributed the Shatabdi Prathibha Puraskaaram in the Education category. Prof. Cyriac Thomas was the chief guest, and Principal Dr. M. I. Punnoose presided over the function. The grand ceremony took place at the UC College Library Hall, where Prof. V. Unnikrishnan Nair, Prof. P. K. Abdul Aziz, Prof. M. S. Girija, Prof. Michael Tharakan, Prof. Prasad Krishna, and Prof. Manju Kurian received their awards and certificates.
Awardees Prof. K. Kunjikrishnan, Prof. Deepak John Mathew, Prof. Dileep Kumar M., and Prof. A. T. Biju could not attend the event in person. During the event, College Manager Rev. Thomas John, Dr. Vidya Ravindranathan, Rekha R. Nair, and Alumni Association Vice President Saji R. delivered speeches.
