About the Club
A Unique Centenary Project of Union Christian College
Thanalidam is a visionary initiative launched as part of the centenary celebrations of Union Christian College. Rooted in the spirit of service and sustainability, the club aims to bridge the campus and the community, empowering students to take part in meaningful, impact-driven activities.

A platform to sell and buy organic products, supporting:-
Women entrepreneurs

Zero-budget natural farming initiatives

Thrift Shop
Encouraging the principles of reuse and recycling, the thrift shop allows students and faculty to donate and purchase pre-loved items, promoting a culture of sustainable living. -
Free Midday Meal Programme
A social outreach initiative providing nutritious meals to the underprivileged, nurturing compassion and community care.
How to Join Thanalidam Club
Eligibility:

Open to first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students of Union Christian College.

Applicants must have a passion for community service, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.
Selection Process:

Each year, 10 volunteers will be selected.

A Google Form will be shared to collect expressions of interest.

Selection will be conducted by the Thanalidam Administration Committee, based on the responses and motivation shared in the form.
