ശതാബ്ദി പ്രതിഭാ പുരസ്കാരം – ശാസ്ത്രസാങ്കേതിക വിഭാഗം

ശതാബ്‌ദി ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി, ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രാഗൽഭ്യം തെളിയിച്ച പൂർവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി, യു സി കോളേജ് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശതാബ്ദി പ്രതിഭാ പുരസ്കാരം – ശാസ്ത്രസാങ്കേതിക വിഭാഗം – വിതരണം നടന്നു. മുൻ കേരള ചീഫ് സെക്രട്ടറി വി.പി ജോയി മുഖ്യാതിഥി ആയ ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ ഡോ. എം ഐ പുന്നൂസ് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. യുസി കോളേജ് ലൈബ്രറി ഹാളിൽ വച്ച് നടന്ന പ്രൗഢഗംഭീരമായ ചടങ്ങിൽ എസ് അനന്തനാരായണൻ, ഡോ സോമൻ പി, ഡോ കുരുവിള ജേക്കബ്, ഡോ സി പി രഘുനാഥൻ നായർ, ഡോ അനിൽ എൻ എന്നിവർ പുരസ്കാരവും പ്രശസ്തിപത്രവും ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി.

അവാർഡ് ജേതാക്കളായ പദ്മശ്രീ ഡോ. ജേക്കബ് പൗലോസ് തേനുങ്കൽ , ഡോ. എം ജി ശാരംഗധരൻ, പത്മശ്രീ ഡോ. ശോശാമ്മ ഐപ്പ്, പത്മശ്രീ ഡോ മാത്യൂ സാമുവൽ കളരിക്കൽ, ഡോ. സി എസ് ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണൻ എന്നിവർക്ക് നേരിട്ട് വരാൻ സാധിച്ചില്ല. ചടങ്ങിൽ കോളേജ് മാനേജർ റവ തോമസ് ജോൺ, ഡോ എം. അനിൽകുമാർ, ഡോ സിമി പുഷ്പൻ, പൂർവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി സംഘടന പ്രസിഡൻറ് പി.സി. അജിത്കുമാർ തുടങ്ങിയവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.

As part of the centenary celebrations, UC College distributed the Shatabdi Prathiba Puraskaaram in the Science and Technology category. Former Kerala Chief Secretary V. P. Joy was the chief guest, and Principal Dr. M. I. Punnoose presided over the function. The grand ceremony took place at the UC College Library Hall, where S. Ananthanarayanan, Dr. Soman P., Dr. Kuruvilla Jacob, Dr. C. P. Raghunathan Nair, and Dr. Anil N. received their awards and certificates.

The awardees Padma Shri Dr. Jacob Paulose Thenungkal, Dr. M. G. Sarangadharan, Padma Shri Dr. Sosamma Iype, Padma Shri Dr. Mathew Samuel Kalarickal, and Dr. C. S. Unnikrishnan could not attend the event in person.

During the event, College Manager Rev. Thomas John, Dr. M. Anilkumar, Dr. Simi Pushpan, and Alumni Association President P. C. Ajithkumar delivered speeches.
