Talk on Responsible Financial Behaviour

The Quiz Club of Union Christian College, Aluva, organized a class on financial literacy.
A session on financial literacy was organized by the Quiz Club of Union Christian College, Aluva, together with the Financial Literacy Cell of Ernakulam District Block Centre on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Reserve Bank of India. An orientation towards financial literacy and the nationwide quiz program held by RBI was given to students. A mock quiz competition was conducted for the students during the session. The event was held at VMH on September 9th, 2024, Monday at 11.00 AM.
The faculty coordinator of the Quiz Club, Dr. Shela Mary Varghese, welcomed the gathering. The co-ordinator of North Paravur Block, Ms. Vineetha, introduced the event and its relevance, followed by an orientation by Mr. Anish Balachnadran, Edapalli co-ordinator, about the upcoming nationwide quiz competition held by RBI for the students. Ms. Harishma Ramesh, Vazhakulam coordinator, held a session on financial literacy and the dos and don’ts of using digital or plastic money.
A mock quiz competition was held by Mr. Ameen. The event was felicitated by Mr. M. B. Shrijish.
