A district-level Gandhi Quiz Competition for high school students, organised by the Kerala Khadi Board in association with the Gandhi Darshan Club and Quiz Club, Union Christian College, Aluva, was held at VMH, Union Christian College, Aluva, on September 24, 2026.

Sree Narayana Higher Secondary School won the First Prize, with Jeevan John, Mobin and Karthik K. S. as team members. Vidhadhiraja Vidya Bhavan Higher Secondary School secured the Second Prize, represented by K. R. Dhananjayan and Aryan P. Nair.

The quiz was conducted by Mr. Anugrah V. K., PG History student and 2018 State-level winner of the same quiz. Ms. Ruth (B.Com.), Ms. Jesentha and Ms. Revathy M. S. (Economics), and Ms. Selvana Pankaj, Quiz Club Secretary, assisted in the programme.

Ms. Dhanya Dhomodharan and Mr. Saji Mathew C., Project Officers, District Khadi and Village Industries Office, Ernakulam, Khadi Tower, Kaloor, felicitated the winners. Prof. Mini Alice, Principal, UCC, distributed the prizes and certificates.
