Autonomy Governance Consultant
Nature of Engagement: Contract Basis
Role: The Autonomy Governance Consultant shall advise and assist the College in matters relating to autonomous governance, regulatory compliance, institutional policies, and academic administration. The consultant will support the development of governance frameworks and operational procedures necessary for the effective functioning of the College as an autonomous institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on the governance and regulatory requirements applicable to autonomous colleges.
- Assist in the drafting, review, and revision of statutes, regulations, ordinances, policies, and institutional guidelines.
- Advise on matters relating to academic administration, institutional governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of systems and procedures required for autonomous functioning.
- Review institutional practices and recommend measures to strengthen governance, accountability, and administrative efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, policy documents, and submissions required by statutory and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct orientation and capacity-building programmes for administrators and faculty on autonomy-related matters.
- Monitor changes in higher education regulations and advise the College on their implementation.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Postgraduate degree from a recognised university; Ph.D. desirable.
- Proven expertise in higher education governance, academic administration, and University/UGC regulations.
- Significant experience in autonomous colleges, universities, regulatory bodies, or academic administration.
- Excellent drafting, documentation, and advisory skills.
Desirable
- Experience in policy formulation and institutional governance.
- Familiarity with quality assurance, accreditation processes, and higher education reforms.
- Ability to provide strategic inputs for institutional development and autonomous governance.
Academic Consultant: INTEGRATED MBA AND MCA PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT
Nature of Engagement: Contract Basis
Role: The Academic Consultant shall provide academic and technical expertise for the design and development of Integrated MBA and MCA programmes in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP), UGC regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements. The consultant will assist the College in developing academically rigorous, industry-relevant, and future-oriented programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design the curriculum structure and programme framework for Integrated MBA and MCA programmes.
- Develop programme outcomes, course outcomes, credit structures, and assessment frameworks in accordance with prevailing regulations.
- Ensure alignment of the programmes with NEP provisions, UGC guidelines, and relevant professional and academic standards.
- Recommend interdisciplinary, skill-based, and industry-oriented components to enhance programme relevance and employability.
- Assist in preparing programme proposals, curriculum documents, and other academic records required for statutory approvals.
- Advise on academic regulations, programme delivery models, and evaluation systems related to the proposed programmes.
- Provide inputs on benchmarking the programmes against leading national and international institutions.
- Support the College in establishing a roadmap for the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the programmes.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Postgraduate degree in Management, Computer Applications, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognised university; Ph.D. desirable.
- Proven expertise in curriculum design, academic planning, and higher education regulations.
- Significant experience in programme development, curriculum revision, or academic administration in higher education institutions.
- Demonstrated familiarity with NEP, UGC regulations, and contemporary developments in management and computing education.
- Excellent academic writing, documentation, and advisory skills.
Desirable
- Experience in designing integrated, multidisciplinary, or outcome-based academic programmes.
- Exposure to accreditation and quality assurance processes in higher education.
- Strong understanding of emerging industry requirements, employability skills, and future trends in management and technology education.
EMPLOYABILITY COACH
Nature of Engagement: Contract Basis
Role: The Employability Coach shall work with students to enhance their employability, career readiness, and professional competencies. The position focuses on developing the skills, attitudes, and workplace preparedness required for higher education progression, internships, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training programmes aimed at improving students’ employability and career readiness.
- Conduct sessions on communication skills, aptitude development, interview techniques, group discussions, resume writing, and professional etiquette.
- Assess student skill gaps and recommend appropriate interventions for individual and group development.
- Develop structured training modules aligned with industry expectations and emerging workplace requirements.
- Organise mock interviews, assessment centres, career guidance sessions, and employability workshops.
- Facilitate activities that strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and workplace communication skills.
- Collaborate with academic departments and industry partners to enhance student preparedness for internships and employment.
- Monitor student progress and provide mentoring and feedback to improve employability outcomes.
- Maintain records of training activities, student participation, and programme outcomes.
- Recommend strategies to improve placement readiness and career development initiatives across the institution.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Postgraduate degree from a recognised university; qualifications in Human Resource Management, Training and Development, Psychology, Career Counselling, or related fields will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in employability training, career coaching, placement training, talent development, or related areas.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, workplace expectations, and current employment trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse academic backgrounds.
Desirable
- Experience working with higher education institutions, training organisations, or corporate learning environments.
- Familiarity with assessment tools, career planning methodologies, and competency-based training.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver outcome-oriented employability programmes.
