Student Orientation Programme 2023

The Student Induction Programme for the newly admitted first-year students was held at the Founders’ Memorial Platinum Jubilee Auditorium at Union Christian College, Aluva, on 10th July 2023. The Inaugural Session commenced with opening prayer followed by Dr. Mini Alice, Dean of Administration, welcoming the students and their parents to the UCian community. Principal, Dr. M.I. Punnoose delivered the Presidential Address and Rev. T. Thomas John, the College Manager, delivered the Manger’s Address. Adv. A. Jayasankar, Alumnus, Social Commentator and Political Analyst, led the orientation session. Representatives, of various Clubs/forums/offices of UC College, introduced the students to the activities of the same.  A memento was presented to the college by the PTA as a token of appreciation for securing 77th position in the NIRF ranking 2023. Dr. Jenish Paul delivered the vote of thanks.

A Merit function was also organized on the same day to honor the rank holders and winners in co-curricular activities followed by the PTA meeting.
