ആലുവ യൂണിയൻ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ കോളേജിൽ കലാ-കായികരംഗത്ത് മികവ് പുലർത്തിയ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ അനുമോദിക്കുന്നതിനായി മെറിറ്റ് ഡേ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.
പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡോ മിനി ആലീസ് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ച ചടങ്ങിൽ സംസ്ഥാന യുവജനകാര്യ-സ്പോർട്സ് വകുപ്പ് അഡീഷണൽ ഡയറക്ടർ ഡോ പ്രദീപ് സി എസ് മുഖ്യാതിഥിയായി.
2024-25, 2025-26 വർഷങ്ങളിൽ കായികരംഗത്തും 2025-26 വർഷം കലാരംഗത്തും മികവ് തെളിയിച്ച 150 വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ ചടങ്ങിൽ ആദരിച്ചു.

കായികവകുപ്പ് മുൻ അധ്യക്ഷൻ ഡോ അനിൽ തോമസ് കോശി, അക്കാഡമിക് രേഖ ആർ, കായിക വകുപ്പ് അധ്യക്ഷ ഡോ ബിന്ദു എം, ഡോ രജീഷ് റ്റി ചാക്കോ, യൂണിയൻ ചെയർപേഴ്സൺ ഗോപിക തുടങ്ങിയവർ ചടങ്ങിൽ സംസാരിച്ചു.

The function was presided over by Principal Dr. Mini Alice, and the Chief Guest was Dr. Pradeep C. S., Additional Director of the State Department of Youth Affairs and Sports.A total of 150 students who demonstrated excellence in sports during the academic years 2024–25 and 2025–26, and in arts during 2025–26, were honored at the event.

Former Head of the Department of Physical Education Dr. Anil Thomas Koshy, Academic Dean Dr. Rekha R., Head of the Department of Physical Education Dr. Bindu M., Dr. Rajeesh T. Chacko, and Union Chairperson Gopika also spoke on the occasion.
