Prof. Varghese Ittiavirah called to Eternal Rest

Prof. Varghese Ittiavirah (DOB 2-8-1924) went to his heavenly abode today at 8 PM. Funeral on Monday at 12 noon in Christian Assembly Cemetry U C College, Aluva.

Varghese Ittiavirah sir joined as a faculty in the Malayalam department of the college in 1953 and served the college in various capacities till he retired in 1984 as the head of the department of Malayalam.

Spouse: Mrs. Mariamma Mathew, Rtd. Headmistress, Govt Boys HS Aluva.

Children: Abraham Varghese, Saramma Varghese, Sosa Varghese, Sushama Mary Varghese.

UCC joins the bereaved family in their deep grief.
